Maintenance Agreements Can Pay Off
As with most large investments, you want it to last as long as possible. Heating & Air conditioner manufacturers suggest that your heating and cooling systems be cleaned and inspected every year to keep your system operating at its optimum efficiency, and to ensure your equipment warranty is covered.
A professional technician can give you peace of mind by informing you of any issues before they turn into costly repairs.
Issues a technician can address at a normal preventative maintenance appointment include:
- Measuring for the correct voltage and electrical current levels on the A/C motor.
- Faulty connections can reduce the performance and life span of your system.
- Cleaning the A/C evaporator coil and condenser coil, so that your system does not run too long.
- Checking A/C refrigerant.
- Refrigerant levels should not fluctuate much, so if they are too high or low, you may have a malfunction or leak.
- Cleaning your filters or replacing them.
- A clogged air filter can restrict air flow, which reduces your comfort, air quality, and your system's performance.

Caroline Heating & Air, LLC offers Preventative Maintenance plans to protect your investment and keep you comfortable in any temperatures.
